Robert Barnes  has been associated with the company for many years. He is the brother of Simon Barnes. In 2004 he set up and sponsored the Theatre Web Page which he still supports and edits for the company. He is also one of the Llandovery Theatre Company team who are currently involved typing and printing onto disc the 100 plays, scripts and programmes written and produced by the Company from '76 onwards, in order to release them for performance.   He has just completed work on DARKLY FLOWS THE TAFF, Simon's novel.   It has long been our custom and tradition that trustees should have performed on stage at Llandovery Theatre. This tradition is happily maintained, for though Bob is not an actor, his voice was recorded by Simon for a voice-over for the play: Swallow the devil, Festival 1994.
He was appointed and welcomed to the Trust - 24 April 2010.
