The Llandovery Theatre Company directors have produced over 100 new plays and scripts, directed countless performances and worked with professional and community actors, and hundreds of children, since 1975.

Llandovery Theatre Company Trustees.

 

Amy Morgan, first joined the company as a child in 1986, performing in

The Old Curiosity Shop. Later played Viola in Twelfth Night, Cinderella, and recently Petruchio in the film The Taming of the Shrew.

 

Janet Thomas, first performed with the company at 10,  Played in numerous pantomimes and Festival  plays, including: Swallow the Devil, Land of Cockaigne, both new plays by Jacky and Simon Barnes.

 

Rhiannon Pugh, first performed with LTC when she was 14, played in Romeo and Juliet, The Little Bit the Boys Admire, Little Nell in The Old Curiosity  Shop,  and Queen Anne in Triple Dick.                   

 

Llywelyn Griffiths, first performed as  a pirate in Treasure Island, 1984, later, The Old Curiousity Shop, and Edgar Wallace's - On the Spot. His mother Marie Griffiths was actor and supporter of the company since its start, 1976.  and the gallery at the theatre is named for her.  

 

Jaqueline Barnes, actor, writer and director with  Llandovery Theatre Company since 1976.  First festival performance   - the Queen, in Who'll Feed the Horses by Simon Barnes.

 

Llandovery is a small market town in the upper Towy valley, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales, UK.
